There are multiple approaches to resolving disputes. Just as there are multiple ares of dispute: family issues, real estate/construction disputes, organizational conflicts (workplace, offices, churches) and civil litigaton. Different disputes require different approaches to resolving those disputes. Crilley Mediation Services is pleased to be able to offer a wider range of alternative forms of dispute resolution. * Mediation – Mediation provides a nonadversarial environment for the participants to work together with the mediator to explore alternative ideas amd ways to reach the agreement. The mediator is a neutral facilitator working to create a positive atmosphere condusive to settlement. Participants may attend with or without their attorney. * Facilitated Settlement – The neutral facilitator helps guide the parties through their own settlement of their disputes. Attorneys usually attend with the participants. *Arbitrations – Participants submit their agreement to an impartial arbitrator, usually agreeing that the arbitrator’s ruling in the dispute will be binding an dfinal. Attorneys usually attend with the participants.
