Mediation cases – Family: All Issues Prep Sessions – Family Law (Divorce, Custody, Child Support, Property Division, etc.); Probate; Guardianship/Conservatorship; Elder Law; Business Law

Mediation will start with parties in separate rooms, unless otherwise requested. I welcome the presence of attorneys.

Conditions of mediation are by agreement of the parties. I encourage the presence of third parties, if it will be helpful to the mediation process. If often see the lack of third parties at mediation as beneficial, but this is not always the case.

My role as the mediator is to facilitate communication. This communication will explore underlying issues and practical concerns, such as resolving the disputed issues.

Fees for mediation will be charged at the rate of $275 per hour. Each party will pay one-half of the total fees. Credit cards accepted. Fees billed to the 1/10th of an hour with no minimum for mediations held in Johnson County, on Zoom, or on the telephone. A deposit of $275 each is required 48 hours before the scheduled mediation.
